Most people’s desire is not to hear but to be heard. Einstein, on the other hand, had nothing to prove. He felt no need to constantly talk about himself or his knowledge, nor to demonstrate his IQ. Instead, he learned the value of questions and realised he could influence others best by extending them the courtesy of listening.
